When you sign up for Water Street’s Loyalty Rewards, you earn three reward points for every dollar you spend at any of our café locations. These points can be redeemed for discounts OR you choose to donate a portion directly to our Featured Non-Profit. From January through March 2026, our Featured Non-Profit is Kalamazoo County Ready 4s.

KC Ready 4s supports 3 and 4 year-old children and their families across Kalamazoo County, focusing on households facing financial barriers to accessing high-quality early learning. Many families that they serve are working households living with constrained incomes, where childcare costs often exceed what families can afford. KC Ready 4s are also big supporters of early childhood educators and providers, strengthening classrooms and programs so children enter kindergarten ready to succeed. 

This program exists because early access to high-quality education changes lives - not just for children, but for families and the entire community. Research consistently shows that children who attend high-quality early learning programs are more prepared for kindergarten, experience stronger social-emotional development, and are more likely to succeed academically over time. Every child, regardless of income, background, or zip code, deserves access to a safe, supportive, and enriching learning environment. By supporting families, strengthening early childhood programs, and investing in educators, KC Ready 4s helps remove barriers that prevent children from reaching their full potential.

KC Ready 4s hosts community-centered events and activities that bring families, educators, and partners together to strengthen early learning across Kalamazoo County. Water Street’s Loyalty Rewards Program began in 2018 and features a new non-profit each quarter. With the help of our customers, we've been able to give a total of $20,699 to non-profit organizations to help support the important work they do in our community.
