Peated Bourbon Barrel-Aged Papua New Guinea!
In this iteration of our barrel-aged series we marry a fresh coffee from Papua New Guinea with a peated bourbon barrel sourced from Two James Distillery, located in Detroit, Michigan. Green beans are aged for three weeks before roasting. The charred American oak barrel was used to produce Two James’ J. Riddle Peated Bourbon which uses a blend of Michigan corn and peated barley. Aging the coffee in this barrel before roasting allows the coffee to inherit characteristics from both the barrel and the bourbon that was made in it, presenting a uniquely flavor infused coffee sure to satisfy coffee-lover and liquor-connoisseur alike.
