New Bag and Cup Design
Our message at Water Street Coffee is summed up into three words: quality, creativity, and community. Whether through our food and drinks, products, packaging, or even the design and infrastructure of our facilities, our team is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for the community to come together.
We often find ourselves adapting or redeveloping products and recipes to bring a refreshing upgrade to the customer experience. More frequently, we do this with our seasonal food and drink menus; less often with retail items, café remodels, or even modern tweaks to our company logo over the years.
The latest refresh comes to our coffee bags, craft food bags, and to-go cups; with a more noticeable change to our to-go cups. Our Creative Director, Kirsten Field, chose to predominantly showcase the Water Street blue with accents of orange in a familiar hexagonal pattern.
Drawing inspiration from her hand-drawn designs on our Dunes Travel Tumbler and White Pine Wide Mouth Traveler, Kirsten subtly highlighted a few Michigan treasures. The hexagons, which now serendipitously reflect our six cafés, were originally inspired by the pattern found on the Michigan Petoskey stone. Moreover, inside of each hexagon there are five lines, representing the Michigan state tree, the Eastern White Pine, where needles grow in bundles of five.
We are very excited for this recent design refresh, and hope that you have enjoyed a small peak into the details of our creative projects at Water Street Coffee.
