Loyalty Rewards Support Kalamazoo Institute of Arts
Give back with every sip!
When you sign up for Water Street’s Loyalty Rewards, you earn three reward points for every dollar you spend at any of our café locations. These points can be redeemed for discounts, OR you can choose to donate a portion directly to our Featured Charity. From October through December 2021, our Featured Non-Profit is the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.
Since its formation in 1924, the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts has a long history of using its vast collection to create thought-provoking and fresh perspectives on American art.
As one of the leading arts organizations in Michigan and the Midwest, the KIA strives to promote and cultivate the creation and appreciation of visual arts for everyone to enjoy. Through the museum, the collection, fine arts library, Kirk Newman Art School, programs, events, and the Gallery Shop, art is abundant at the KIA.
Staying connectd to the community is vital to the KIA. They do this with more than 12 exhibitions annually and 100 programs, such as ARTbreaks, Book Discussions and Artists Talks. In addition, the Kirk Newman Art School offers over 300 artist-led studio art classes and workshops, and kids camps. Public programs at the KIA include an interactive gallery, tours, family art-making programs, professional development for teachers, tactile art experiences for the visually impaired, and leadership opportunities for teens.
Most notably, the KIA hosts the Arts Fair (now in its 71st year), Kirk Newman Art School Holiday Sale celebrating over 45 years and so many other long standing community favorites. These events not only showcase local and regional artists, but create an experience around art for everyone to enjoy.
Water Street is proud to support the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts and hopes you can help us in this effort.
