When you sign up for Water Street’s Loyalty Rewards, you earn three reward points for every dollar you spend at any of our café locations. These points can be redeemed for discounts, OR you can choose to donate a portion directly to our Featured Non-Profit. From January through March 2022, our Featured Non-Profit is the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Scholars Academy.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Student Scholars Academy, named in honor of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was born from a movement at Western Michigan University to increase racial minority student and faculty representation on campus.

MLK Academy is a four-tier comprehensive program designed to offer academic, social, and professional development support and services to assist program participants from the first year through graduation. Each tier is designed to address particular developmental milestones associated with that phase of each student's matriculation.

Water Street is proud to support the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Scholars Academy and we hope that you can help us in this effort.

Water Street’s Loyalty Rewards Program began in 2018 and features a new non-profit each quarter. With the help of our customers, we’ve been able to give a total $11,568 to non-profit organizations to help support the important work they do in our community.
