New Vegan and Wheat Free Menu Items!
Have you noticed the comment cards in any one of our shops? They look like a postcard, and they can be found next to a locked box. We wanted to let you know that, yes, we actually do read these, and furthermore, we LOVE your feedback. It helps us learn and grow in ways that please our customers!
Most recently we received several cards requesting more vegan and wheat free fare at our cafes, so with this season’s menu change (yes we promise the season is changing!) we added several more vegan and wheat free options to our menu:
Bleu Cheese Potato Salad (Vegetarian, WF) – Red skin potatoes, celery, tomato, hard-boiled eggs, and roasted onion, tossed in rich bleu cheese dressing
Curried Bean Salad (Vegan, WF) – French lentils, black-eyed peas, kidney beans, celery, and red onion tossed in a curry vinaigrette
Wild Rice Edamame (Vegan w/honey, WF) – Edamame beans and wild rice tossed with roasted sweet potato, scallions, dried cranberries, sesame seed, and almonds in sesame vinaigrette
Choco-Nut Crinkle (Vegan, WF) – A delightful bite of rice crisps, chocolate, coconut oil, unsweetened coconut
Carrot Cupcake (WF) – Carrot cupcake with golden raisin and cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, frosted with cream cheese frosting (made with gluten free flour)
Goji Bite (Vegan, WF) – Pistachios, almonds, goji berries, dried cranberries, cacao nibs and Michigan Maple Syrup rolled in dried coconut
Whole Grains/Blues with Yogurt (WF) – Steel Cut oats, quinoa, greek yogurt, blueberries, honey, ginger and toasted pepitas
Whether you’re vegan, gluten free, or none of the above, all of us at Water Street agree that these items are delicious additions to our menu.
