Peru Finca Cinco Corazones – Fresh Crop
This coffee hails from the mountainous region located in the heart of Peru. The farm, Cinco Corazones, which means five hearts, was named after the original owner's five children. Comprised of 135 hectares of land and sitting between 1100 and 1800 meters above sea level, this specialty coffee farm consistently produces coffee with amazing acidity and flavor profiles. This well rounded coffee is amazingly drinkable, with the flavor, body, and acidity playing out in harmony with one another. Look for notes of hazelnut on the nose, peanut brittle and dark chocolate out on the tongue, and a playful acidity and milky body that bring it all together.
